Passenger Dies, Dozens Injured in Singapore Airlines Turbulence

SIA Flight SQ321 Encounters Severe Turbulence, Causing Multiple Injuries

Singapore - One passenger has died and at least 71 others were injured on board a Singapore Airlines plane that encountered severe turbulence during a flight from London to Singapore.

The flight, SQ321, took off from Heathrow Airport at 10:38 pm local time on Monday with 211 passengers and 18 crew members aboard. During the flight, the plane encountered severe turbulence, resulting in multiple injuries among the passengers and crew.

One person, a 73-year-old man, died from his injuries, while 30 others were taken to hospitals for treatment. The remaining passengers and crew members were uninjured.

The Singapore Airlines flight landed safely at Changi Airport in Singapore on Tuesday morning. The cause of the turbulence is under investigation.
